Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Andrei Gal, has more than 30 years experience. He graduated from the Veterinary Faculty of Bucharest and came to the United States in 1976. He studied and prepared with the students of the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School and not only passed the Pennsylvania rigorous licensing tests, but also went on and successfully obtained licenses for the states of Massachusetts, Georgia, and Washington DC. He worked for 10 years at West ParkAnimal Hospital, then 8 years at the busy Mt. Airy Animal Hospital, accumulating precious clinical and surgical experience. At the same time he ran one of the first House Calls practices in the Philadelphia area, a practice that still continues on a more limited basis. Dr. Gal took over and acquired the Chester Pike Veterinary Hospital (CPVH) in 1996 from Dr. Hansen, a veterinarian who has practiced at the same location for 30 years. Dr. Gals philosophy for CPVH is to provide outstanding Customer Satisfaction and excellent service.
