Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mackiewicz, "Dr. Mack" is originally from the South NJ/Philadelphia area. She attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick and graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Animal Science. After college she was hired to work as chemist for a large pharmaceutical company in Lansdale, PA. During this time, she decided to continue her education by pursuing a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Although, Dr. Mack enjoyed her time working in research, she ultimately decided that working with and helping animals is her passion. She packed her bags and moved across the country to attend Western University of Health Sciences in sunny southern California where she earned her degree in veterinary medicine in 2015. She is thrilled to be back on the east coast and be a part of the CVH team. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering for World Vets, crafting, gardening, playing Candy Crush and hanging out with her crazy weimaraner, Cody and sassy Chihuahua mix, Lil' Wheezy.
