Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ashlea Erk graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation she spent five years practicing veterinary medicine in Colorado Springs, Coloradoone year gaining valuable experience as an emergency clinician and the remaining four at a busy small animal practice. Dr. Erk is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She received her training in Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians in 2007. She is enjoying integrating this service into the offerings at Doylestown Veterinary Hospital as another tool to enhance patient comfort and treat a variety of medical conditions. In late 2010, Dr. Erk joined our staff after returning to Pennsylvania with her husband, an emergency veterinarian at CARES, and their two young sons. Since then, the family has grown with the birth of their third son. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially being outdoors together.
