Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hunsinger grew up in Catawissa, PA. She is a 2010 graduate of Penn State University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences. Following her graduation, she attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2014. During her time at the University of Illinois, she served as president of the schoolÂ’s chapter of the American Animal Hospital Association. She also completed a large animal emergency rescue training course. Dr. Hunsinger enjoys working with most species, but her main interests include canine and feline medicine. She also is especially interested in ophthalmology and clinical pathology. When Dr. Hunsinger is not at work, she enjoys her time scrapbooking, playing the French horn, and attending Penn State football games.
