Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Motley obtained his undergraduate degree at Penn State University where he graduated from the University Scholars Program with Honors in Film and Video. He received his veterinary training at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated in 1998 as a member of the Phi Zeta Honor Society. Dr. Motley spent the first 5 years of his veterinary career in general practice, two of them working at Gwynedd Veterinary Hospital in Lansdale. For the 13 years prior to joining the Ark family, Dr. Motley worked at NorthStar VETS, a multi-specialty and emergency center in Robbinsville, NJ. There he worked as an emergency-critical care doctor, served as the Supervisor of their Emergency Service for 8 years and 1 year as the Medical Director. Dr. Motley joined the Ark family in November 2016. He looks forward to helping Arks patients and clients share long, healthy lives together through excellent client communication and education and offering the very best possible preventative care and treatment of acute and chronic illness. When hes not working, Dr. Motley enjoys the company of his wife, Melissa, and two sons, Kade and Jake. His passions include coaching his sons, rooting for the Phillies, fishing, playing Texas Hold Em, and anything and everything Star Wars.
