Veterinarian Overview
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Harris is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in Large Animal Medicine and Field Service at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and Massachusetts Equine Clinic, then returned to Penn for a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine after which she became board-certified in large animal internal medicine. After practicing in the emergency department at Penn's New Bolton Center, Dr. Harris has moved to the Main Line and the world of small animals. Like Dr. Heyde, she trained at the Chi Institute for acupuncture, which she has used on large animals. She lives with 4 interesting cats and a beautiful pit bull mix, Ella. Here she receives some assistance from Sallee treating a patient with electro-acupuncture, while 7 guinea pigs on a play date are watching.
