Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nicole Smith was born and raised in Palmyra, where she grew up working with and showing draft horses. She received her B.S. in Veterinary Medical Technology from Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. She went on to attend veterinary school at St. Matthew's University in the Cayman Islands, and the completed a year of clinical training at Purdue University. In the spring of 2013 Nicole came to work as a veterinary intern at Horseshoe Valley Equine Center. She is now a full time Veterinarian at HVEC. Her areas of special interests include dentistry, theriogenology, and equine behavior. She currently lives in Annville with her rescued black lab-german shepherd mix Andy and Quarter Horse Dotty.
