Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Salwei received her DVM from Kansas State University in 1999. She completed a year long rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship with the Sacramento Animal Medical Group in 2000. She continued working with the group at a local satellite hospital (Greenback Veterinary Hospital) in 2000 and early 2001 until entering a radiology residency at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine later that spring. She completed her residency in 2004, joining VDIC in August of that year. She became board certified with the American College of Veterinary Radiologists in 2007. Currently at VDIC and IDEXX Telemedicine Consultants, she functions as a teleradiologists and performs both in house and mobile ultrasound studies.
