Veterinarian Overview
KristyAnn Brock began her career in emergency medicine. After 2 years, she found that she missed the close relationships that could be built between the doctor, patient, and client in general practice. "Nothing is like walking in a room and seeing familiar faces (human and animal) and picking up conversation where you left off the last time. I love being able to 'catch up' with my clients. I cherish those moments."
Dr. Brock was elated when Dr. Gilbert asked her to be a part of the team at Viking Veterinary Care. While attending Oregon State University together for veterinary school, the two became good friends. In fact, Dr. Gilbert officiated the Brock Wedding! Dr. Brock and her husband Andrew have a blended household of a pit bull mix (Cappy), a Boston- Frenchie cross (Franklin), a Boston terrier (Trudy) that was adopted through the Panda Paws Rescue, a tripod kitty (Nubs) and a sleek orange tabby- he might as well be a male model (Oliver.)
When "Doc Brock" is not working at the veterinary hospital (which is her passion), she is an avid runner & fitness coach. While she is devoted to health and fitness, she secretly does it for the love of mac-n-cheese. She and her husband also like to frequent the local beer festivals! Dr. Brock has recently accepted a position on the Panda Paws Rescue Board and is studying to become certified in canine physical rehabilitation.
