Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Robert Fisher was born in San Francisco and raised with two brothers and a sister on the San Francisco Peninsula. He worked as a teen on ranches on the California coast, south of Half Moon Bay.He Graduated from the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Fisher served four years as a Public Health Veterinarian in the U.S. Air Force in Southeast Asia and Japan.Dr. Fisher Practiced large and small animal medicine in Point Reyes Station, California for 38 years were he had an interest in orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, and dairy cattle reproduction. He sold the practice in 2002 and moved to Bonanza, Oregon in 2005. He joined the staff of Klamath Animal Clinic in 2008 and continues practice small animal medicine and surgery.Dr. Fisher and Fisher and Carole Anne have four children, three step-children, and seven grandchildren. They raise Navajo-Churro sheep, cattle and hay on a small ranch in Langell Valley.Besides the ranch, animals and dogs, they enjoy traveling to see the grand kids, traveling around the west, fishing and camping, whitewater rafting and visiting his sister in Italy.
