Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wagner is a native Tulsan and a Nathan Hale graduate of 1972. His wife Barbara is a Tulsa Rogers graduate of 1975 and is a preschool teacher at Christ United Methodist as well as the Park Plaza VI & VII Homeowner Association president. They have 3 children; James Wagner, Lindsay Harkins, and Erin Goodrich. They now have 7 grandchildren. Dr. Wagner has been active in the local and state veterinary associations, a member at Christian Chapel and is currently volunteering as president at Sun N Fun neighborhood pool. He enjoys reading, snow skiing, baseball, tennis and annual vacations at Beavers Bend State Park. Dr. Wagner joined the practice as an associate upon graduation from Oklahoma State in 1980. In 1987, he became partners with Dr. Hohmann and in 1989 became partners with Dr. Shackelford. He has recently changed his role back to an associate veterinarian by selling his part of the partnership to Dr. Erin Reed. He is always endeavoring to learn more in order to apply that knowledge to help your pets health issues. He has a Boston Terrier, Dax, with severe allergies and a loveable cat named Ray.
