Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Amanda Baileys love of animals began very early on during her childhood in Jenks, Oklahoma. Her life-long compassion for animals, as well as her enthusiasm for science, made the choice to become a veterinarian an easy one. She received both her Bachelors in Physiology and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University. She graduated vet school in 2013, and has been practicing in the Tulsa area since that time. She has been with Sand Springs Small Animal Hospital since May 2015, and has enjoyed every minute! Her special interests include preventative care, clinical pathology, and radiology. In addition to veterinary medicine, Dr. Bailey teaches undergraduate Anatomy and Biology at Tulsa Community College. Dr. Bailey lives in Jenks with her husband and their young daughter. They share their home with 2 pugs her favorite breed. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, playing piano, fitness, and chasing her toddler around the house.
