Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jeff Henderson received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 1995. As a veterinary student he received numerous awards and honors including The American College of Veterinary Surgeons Student Surgery Award, The World Care Animal Foundation Award in recognition of the promotion of the human animal bond, and membership in Phi Zeta, the national honor society for veterinary students. He also serves as a President of the Class of 1995. Prior to obtaining his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Henderson received a Bachelors of Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Oklahoma in 1983. After his graduation from OU, he worked in the real estate business developing numerous residential and commercial properties in the Oklahoma City Area. While a real estate professional, Dr. Henderson was active in many civic and business organizations. Upon graduation from OSU, Dr. Henderson started practicing medicine at Britton Road Veterinary Clinic and became a co-owner in 2000. Dr. Henderson is a member of the American and Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Associations and served as a board member from 2002 to 2006 for the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Foundation. Dr. Henderson and his wife, Susan, an attorney practicing in Oklahoma City, have one child, Emma. Emma was selected the 2003 National Ambassador for the March of Dimes Foundation. The Hendersons have been very active in their volunteer work with the March of Dimes.
