Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Schmitz is a central Ohio native, who joined the My Vet team in 2015. She has always had a love for animals, so her decision to become a veterinarian was only natural. Dr. Schmitz is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences. She continued on to receive her doctorate in veterinary school at Ohio State. Dr. Schmitz has two daughters (they welcomed their second in spring 2016). They are finding that their youngest is fanatical about Buckeye football- a mandatory trait for their family! The 2014 National Champion title was a family celebration for the Schmitz house!Dr. Schmitz is committed to giving her patients and their families amazing medical and surgical care here at My Vet. She takes pride in her eye for detail and treats each patient as if it were her own.
