Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jeff Shields is a lifelong resident of central Ohio. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. He has many years of medical and surgical experience with dogs and cats, as well as extensive experience with smaller pets, such as ferrets, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, rats, mice, and gerbils. Dr. Shields also has advanced training in veterinary ultrasound examination techniques. Dr. Shields' family consists of his wife, Connie, four sons, a black Labrador Retriever, a Golden Retriever, a Red-Eared Slider turtle, and several farm animals. When not tending to the world of animals, Dr. Shields is a competitive distance runner and an avid cyclist.
