Veterinarian Overview
Robert Nathan is co-owner of Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He has extensive experience treating dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets and other exotic animals. His passion for exotic animals, particularly reptiles, began as a child and led him to dedicating his career to veterinary medicine. Dr. Nathan became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) in 2015, He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV), the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians (AAZV), and the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV). He has served as a board member of the ARAV and edited the Roundtable for the Journal of Herpetological Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Nathan works with the Akron Zoo, and is a veterinarian for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
