Veterinarian Overview
Veterinarian Zoltan Djelmis has had love of animals and a soft spot for strays since he was a child. I always loved animals, and I always wanted to be a vet, a dream I never gave up on, says Dr. Djelmis.Dr. Djelmis graduated in 1989 from University of Zagreb, Croatia. Civil war led him to come to America; he settled in the Columbus area because he had family here.With almost 30 years of practice, Dr. Djelmis still gets excited about his work. He has a special interest in soft tissue surgeries, dentistry and ultrasound.Hes been in Hilliard since 1997 and took over Dr. George Kukors Hilliard Veterinary Hospital in June of 2006. He is married to a pharmacist, has a 16 year old son and a stepson in college. He enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with his family. Dr. Djelmis has two dogs, both beagle mixes. He is fluent in English, Hungarian and Serbian.
