Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Haughton was born and raised near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She completed her Bachelor of Science majoring in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph and subsequently earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Ontario Veterinary College at the same campus. Dr. Haughton has a wide variety of veterinary interest, and prior to joining the practice spent time working at a mixed animal clinic in rural Ohio. Her companion animal interests include surgery and nutrition. She is currently a member of the OVMA, AVMA and CVMA. In her free time, Dr. Haughton plays underwater hockey (yes, you read that right) in addition to spending time outdoors and going home to Canada to see her family. She also enjoys travelling and is always interested in hearing vacation suggestions. Dr Haughton currently lives just north of Pittsburgh, PA with her boyfriend, her dog Ruby, and her cat Snickers.
