Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kurzel recently joined Just Cats upon her return to upstate New York after living in Florida. Originally from Buffalo, she received an undergraduate degree in Animal Science and a DVM from Cornell University. Dr. Kurzel has worked with cats both in Florida at the Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Center at Cooper City and across the pond; she became a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London, UK. Dr. Kurzel has performed research and veterinary care for small animals in Ghana, Africa; Arizona; and Vermont. Dr. Kurzel feels profound satisfaction when a cat warms up to her she considers it a compliment! As a veterinarian, working with cats is her greatest joy. She strives to recognize each cats individual characteristics and personality through perceptiveness, patience, and vigilance. Just as importantly, shell take your concerns seriously and work closely with you to provide guidance and education for your cats care.
