Veterinarian Overview
Katherine Zawadzki, DVM, is a native of New York City. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Science with a concentration in medicine from the University of Buffalo and attended St. George's University, School of Veterinary Medicine, on the island of Grenada in the West Indies, to follow her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Zawadzki completed her clinical training at North Carolina State University, and then returned to New York City to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center. Dr. Zawadzki returned to Western New York to be with her now husband, who also serves the local community as an emergency physician. She practiced for a few years in other western New York practices before joining Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center. She is honored to have joined a group of such talented people and looks forward to providing optimal care to your pet! She is part of our primary care practice seeing patients for wellness care and treats patients who are sick and injured as part of our emergency practice.
