Veterinarian Overview
Susan Springer, DVM, is a native western New Yorker growing up and still residing in Tonawanda, New York. She kept the local connection and graduated from Kenmore East High School. Dr. Springer completed her undergraduate work with a bachelor of science degree in biology from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York, and completed some post-graduate work at the University of Buffalo. She earned a master's degree in anatomy from Michigan State University (MSU) and her doctorate from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Springer completed an internship and gained experience in the field of small animal medicine and surgery at the Michigan Veterinary Specialists in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Springer has devoted herself to caring for small animals of all kinds. She provides primary preventive health care on a regular basis, as well as urgent and emergency care when covering emergency services. Dr. Springer has an interest in canine reproduction and assists with the reproductive health of many canine patients. When not working, she enjoys outdoor activities such as swimming and gardening. She shares her house with her two cats, a gray domestic short hair named Grayson and an orange tabby named Tib.
