Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Karen Fischer is a native of WNY and a founding member of the hospital. She received both her undergraduate and DVM (1991) degrees from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell. Dr. Fischer has a special interest in internal medicine cases and soft tissue surgery. She and her husband adopted their daughter Annabel from China in November 2008. her members of her family include her Schnauzer Beatrice and her horse "Lulu". She enjoys riding Lulu, reading and skiing.
