Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Sada Grieve joined University Animal Hospital in March of 2016. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rollins College in Mathematics she became a partner in an economic research firm for a hedge fund. After a few years Dr. Grieve decided to follow her dream of becoming veterinarian. She finished her pre-veterinary coursework at Columbia University and was awarded her veterinary degree at Oregon State University in 2014. After veterinary school, Dr. Grieve returned to New York to practice small animal veterinary medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her dogs Gary Elizabeth and Sweet Pea in Central Park, reading, going to the theater, learning to fly airplanes, and baking dog biscuits. Dr. Grieve received her USDA accreditation and acquired her DEA license in 2015. She is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Society, Veterinary Medical Association of New York City, and New York State Veterinary Medical Society.
