Veterinarian Overview
Dr Abigail Sine grew up in Kentucky before moving out to Seattle to earn her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington. She spent the next few years working as a vet assistant and doing rescue and rehabilitation work for stranded harbor seals in the San Juan Islands. Abby then moved to New Zealand where she spent seven years and earned her veterinary degree from Massey University. While in vet school she also worked closely with New Zealands premier wildlife hospital and research organization. She helped to rescue and rehabilitate wildlife, worked as a rehabilitator during New Zealands worst oil spill to date, and conducted several research projects. After graduating from vet school, she moved back to Seattle where she spent two years working as an associate veterinarian. Abby moved to New York in August of 2018 and now lives in Brooklyn with her 2 cats Sparky and Calvin. Her professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, geriatric medicine and holistic and alternative therapies. In her free time, shes looking forward to exploring her new area and especially soaking in all of the history and culture that New York has to offer.
