Veterinarian Overview
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Solomon graduated from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. He then did his internship at the Animal Medical Center in NYC. After practicing small animal medicine in the city, he along with fellow graduate Paul Schwartz founded the Center for Veterinary Care in 1989. Shortly after opening the practice, he rescued a young dog that became the mascot for the center (a mixed breed with 3 legs) and he has subsequently placed and kept many pets. Dr Solomon's success with numerous cancer patients over the years has brought out a special interest in oncology and soft tissue surgery. He is an active member of the Morris Animal Foundation. Dr Solomon is quite the sports enthusiast and a devoted golfer.
