Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nunez is a decorated US Air Force and Army veteran, originally from south Louisiana. He graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and has been practicing on Long Island ever since. His areas of professional interest include canine behavior, preventative medicine, dermatology, dentistry, obesity management, arthritis, and endocrinology. In 2007 Dr. Nunez started a canine behavior house call practice, The Balanced Canine. He also serves as a behavior consultant for several rescue groups, both local and nationwide. Dr. Nunez and his daughter Lauryn have a dog, Roxy, and a cat, Kelly. In his spare time he enjoys yoga and various forms of exercise, spending time with family and friends, the beach, and traveling.
