Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jeff Beverly grew up in a rural area outside Buffalo, NY and received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Bachelor of Arts in Biology, both from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University, where he was involved in an extensive study of human Alzheimer's Disease using animal models. After graduation, Dr. Beverly completed a rotating Internship at Veterinary Emergency and Referral Group (VERG) in Brooklyn. Enjoying Brooklyn more than he expected, he took a job as a general practitioner at a small animal practice in Marine Park following his internship. His professional interests include Emergency Medicine, Neurology, and Practice Management. Dr. Beverly is thrilled to be continuing work in Long Island, taking advantage of all the area has to offer. His hobbies include snowboarding, fishing, and cheering for the Buffalo Sabres.
