Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mendralla is the newest associate veterinarian at Canandaigua Veterinary Hospital. Raised in Illinois, he attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and majored in molecular and cellular biology before receiving his doctorate of veterinary medicine from Purdue University in 2014. Dr. Mendralla completed two externships at Circle City Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital in the Dentistry and Oral Surgery Department. His professional interests include dentistry, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Mendralla worked at Animal Hospital of Pittsford before joining Canandaigua Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Mendralla, his fiancé (a large animal veterinarian) and his two-year-old daughter reside in Canandaigua. They share their home with a black Labrador Retriever named Bo. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and playing basketball. He is also an avid follower of the NBA, NHL and MLB.
