Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kim Luikart was born and raised in Reno and received her undergraduate degree at The University of Nevada, Reno. She then spent the next 5 years as an elephant trainer at Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo and at John Ascuagas Nugget with Bertha and Angel. She attended veterinary school at UC Davis. During and for several years after obtaining her veterinary degree, she performed veterinary duties at Six Flags and volunteered with CA Fish and Game working with wildlife such as bighorn sheep, deer, and elk. She practiced for 3 years in Sacramento at a small animal/exotics practice before returning home to Reno. Dr. Luikart became a partner in the practice in 2011
