Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Andy Burnett was born in Seattle, Washington and spent his childhood in California. After moving to Reno and graduating from Reno High School, he attended Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo and UNR. Graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1967. After graduation he moved back to Sparks where he joined with Dr. Gerry Meyers in a veterinary practice. He opened Baring Boulevard Veterinary Hospital in 1980, and has been “retired” from practice for 9 years but still plays an active role in the management duties at the hospital.
