Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nichols grew up on a ranch in Fallon Nevada where animals became a huge part of her life at a very young age. At the tender age of five, she had her heart set on becoming a veterinarian. She attended the University of Nevada Reno to obtain her Bachelors degree in Animal Science. While attending school, Dr. Nichols worked as a veterinary technician at Klaich Animal Hospital. She continued her education at Colorado State University graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Dr. Nichols is excited to be back in Reno starting her professional career at Klaich Animal Hospital. In her spare time, Dr. Nichols enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, running, playing soccer and gardening. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends and fiancé, Scott, and cuddling on the couch reading with her two cats.
