Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Frem performed his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College in NH and ultimately received a Master of Engineering Management Degree from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth. Dr. Frem worked as a business analyst for a major auto manufacturer and managed a public golf course and function facility prior to pursuing veterinary medicine. Dr. Frem received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2011. Following graduation, Dr. Frem completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, CA followed by an intensive surgical internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, TX. Dr. Frem then completed a demanding three-year surgery residency at the Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA in 2016. Dr. Frems practice includes orthopedic, neurologic, and soft tissue procedures with a particular interest in reconstructive surgery and minimally invasive procedures. Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Frem is adjusting to the change in climate and excited to explore the southwest. When not at work, Dr. Frem enjoys rock climbing, golfing, and hiking with his energetic rescue puppy Oliver.
