Veterinarian Overview
Hailing from Oak Ridge, New Jersey, Elizabeth Ashman, DVM was introduced to us through our externship program over the summer of 2015. After graduating from Ross University in September 2015, our new Associate Veterinarian is now looking forward to calling Las Vegas her new home. Concentrating on general practice and internal medicine, Dr. Ashman said that working in the field is one of her true passions and finds it to be extremely rewarding. She loves working on all animals and has even worked with big cats like snow leopards and lions at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Ashman also understands how animals can be a very important member of a family. Its nice to not only make a difference to the animal itself but also to the clients, Dr. Ashman said. With three dogs of her own, she said that she feels proud to be able to work with such a supportive staff. Dr. Ashman is excited to start her career; Its such a great opportunity, she said. Im looking forward to advancing my knowledge in medicine and surgery which are the areas that Im most interested in.
