Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Pamela Ferguson was born and raised in St. Helena, California, a small town in the heart of the Napa Valley wine country. She grew up riding horses, playing sports and raising market hogs. In high school she traveled to Europe to play soccer and was an active member of her local FFA chapter. She attended college at the University of California, Davis where she was a student herdsman at the hog unit on campus and a necropsy technician at the state diagnostic lab. She received her bachelors degree in Animal Science and continued on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Ferguson always wanted to be a veterinarian. When she was in third grade she brought a large pickle jar full of heartworms into her class for show and tell. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, snowboarding, wine tasting, and spending time with family (including her Boston Terrier, Franklin).
