Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nancy Gruber received early acceptance from the University of Minnesota where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science as well as her DVM degree. Her specialties are exotic pet medicine including reptiles and amphibians along with emergency care and toxicology. She also holds an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology having worked for eight years as a veterinary technician.For three years she worked for the Pet Poison Hotline where she received additional training in toxicology. She concurrently worked for the Minnesota Racing Commission as a Test Barn Veterinarian and Regulatory Vet. Just before coming to Murray Hill in 2015, she worked at a small animal veterinary hospital in the Poconos. Originally from Philadelphia, Dr. Gruber now lives in Morristown with her three dogs Bruce, Ronin and Aspen as well as her cats Forrest, Bodhi and Cassius, her boa constrictor Kaa and her tortoise Darwin. She is a devotee of the Walking Dead TV show and enjoys attending Comicon festivals.
