Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Margaret Fordham is a graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked in the Philadelphia area for many years practicing both small animal emergency medicine and exotic pet medicine before completing a three-year residency in avian and exotic pet medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She worked as a Clinical Instructor in the university veterinary hospital for an additional two years before entering into private practice in avian and exotics. She has written several published articles on exotic and avian medicine and edited a book on Exotic Animal Emergency medicine. She has lectured nationally on exotic and avian pet medicine and has a special interest in exotic animal anesthesia and emergency care.
