Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hinton grew up in Northern Virginia on a family horse farm and has been riding and showing quarter horses since a young age. She went to college at Auburn University before attending the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and receiving her DVM degree in 2014. Dr. Hinton's professional interests include equine surgery, diagnostic imaging, and lameness evaluation. She looks forward to developing these skills during her internship at the New Jersey Equine Clinic and learning more about the standardbred and thoroughbred racing industries. Upon completion of her internship, she plans to pursue a surgical residency. Outside of work, Dr. Hinton enjoys riding, spending time outdoors, and cooking
