Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lorri Mitchell is a 1997 graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College at The University of Prince Edward Island, Canada. Upon graduation she joined OCVH where she was an associate veterinarian until 2007. After a 4-year hiatus in Virginia, Dr. Mitchell has returned to NJ. She a strong interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and has proficiency in ultrasound. Dr. Mitchell is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA) and is also USDA Accredited Veterinarian. As a transplanted Canadian, Dr. Mitchell enjoyed southern living, but is now excited to be back on the Jersey Shore, seeing familiar patients and meeting new ones. In her spare time she is mom to twin boys, 2 cats, 2 Russian dwarf hamsters and a rabbit.
