Veterinarian Overview
Growing up in a working class neighborhood of The Bronx confirmed the importance of hard work and dedication, and I am proud to have those ideals manifest themselves in my practice of medicine. I take great joy from my relationships with patients and clients and being able to give a voice to those members of our families without one. I received my bachelors of science degree from Seton Hall University and a masters degree in biology with a dual concentration in ecology and molecular cell biology from Fordham University. After earning my veterinary degree from Ross University in St. Kitts and spending my veterinary clinical year at The Ohio State University, I then finished a small animal rotating medicine/surgery internship at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners (formerly NYC Veterinary Specialists) in New York City. I married my Seton Hall college sweetheart, who is a federal prosecutor in New Jersey, and we have been together for over a decade. We welcomed our first child, Sebastian, in 2015 and have been loving being new parents. I enjoy hiking with my yellow Labrador, Hudson, cooking up a storm, and traveling to far flung locations. Some of my favorite destinations have been South Africa, Italy, China, Thailand and Australia. I have also combined both my profession and passion for travel by being accredited by the USDA to issue International Health Certificates for international pet travel.
