Veterinarian Overview
My goal was always to be a veterinarian. In the early grades of first or second, 2 boys had dreams of the future. One drew pictures of a human being operated on, and the other, drew a dog undergoing surgery. Im happy to report that my classmate and friend became an MD and I became the DVM. Dr. Schenck would love to needle your pets
.as he is thrilled to have seen the acceptance of acupuncture as a modality of treatment offering pain-free relief for pets by the strategic application of finely-made needles that stimulate the nervous system to heal. Arthritis, lameness, inflammatory diseases, and disc disease in pets are the most common applications. Older pets who are slowing down for no apparent or visible reason will usually show a marked improvement in attitude and movement. so, remember, all species respond to this 6000 year old treatment! Dr. Schenck adds another dimension to our traditional practice by integrating modalities that, taken together, benefit our pets! So, with a soft touch and a peaceful manner, even the most savage beast and ferocious pussycat can be tamed into encouraged relaxation with his experience, care and concern for the best care for our patients.
