Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Waples began working at Milford Veterinary Hospital in April of 2016. She was looking for a hospital with a positive attitude, friendly staff, good medicine, and a good philosophy toward patient care. She found that in Milford VH!
Dr. Waples first word was Cat and she has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a little girl goring up in Glen Rock, NJ. Animals were her best friends and she has spent most of her time with them since she learned to walk.
She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont in 2005 with a BS in Animal Science. Dr. Waples took a sabbatical from school and worked as a research assistant at a non-profit biomedical research company in Boston, MA for 2 years prior to attending veterinary school at Ross University on the beautiful island of St. Kitts. She spent 3 years on the island and then completed her clinical rotations at Cornell University.
When at home, Dr. Waples spends her time with her husband Andrew working on projects like their old farmhouse. They also co-captain a co-ed indoor soccer team together and spend winter weekends skiing. They have a miniature dachshund, Sierra, who is their spoiled only child
