Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Dayle Parnells inspiration for working in the veterinary field was her family dog, Amber. For fourteen years, Dr. Parnell was Ambers primary caretaker. She did everything from brushing her teeth to taking her to her veterinary appointments. Realizing how much she truly loved taking care of Amberand how integral she was to the familyinspired Dr. Parnell to help other families experience the same thing!Dr. Parnell grew up in Massachusetts with her parents, two brothers, and a sister. For her undergraduate degree, she studied biology and chemistry at Providence College in Rhode Island. She also worked at a veterinary hospital to gain experience. She attended the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University to get her degree. In 2011, Dr. Parnell joined the caring team at Milford Veterinary Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian.At home, Dayle has a nine-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Abby. She also has an eight-year-old domestic short-haired cat named Tula.Dayle regularly donates to humane societies and her favorite charity, Farm Sanctuary. She is dedicated to helping animals without homes. In her spare time, she also enjoys hiking in the woods with her dog. She also loves painting and sketching.
