Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kelly is a transplanted Midwesterner and graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He very much enjoys working with both cats and dogs. His gentle touch and soothing manner have helped many patients accept the excellent veterinary care they needed. Dr. Kelly's quick sense of humor helps put humans at ease, as well! As a former teacher, Dr. Kelly emphasizes clear communication regarding treatment plans for his patients to the people who bring them in. This fits perfectly here at Upper Valley Veterinary Services: Our motto " Caring with kindness for pets and their people" includes clearly explaining the needs of patients we see, to the people who love them. On his days off, Dr. Kelly enjoys spending time outdoors. He is filled with senses of wonder and gratification when he observes dogs performing specialized tasks. Most satisfying to him of all such tasks is seeing his dog point grouse on the prairie or in the woods. He has come to love the beautiful mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire and can often be found hiking one of the many trails in the area.
