Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Koons grew up in Pennsylvania, Illinois and Missouri. Natalie received her BS in Biology from New York University where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University where she was inducted in Phi Zeta, the veterinary honor society in her third year of study. During her time there she also served as a veterinary technician in the surgery department. After graduating, she moved to the pacific northwest where she practiced emergency medicine for a few years. Most recently, she completed an advanced internship training program at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists with a focus on emergency medicine, critical care, and emergency surgical procedures. She joined the staff of Mass Vet in 2015. In her free time she enjoys hiking, skiing and spending time with her two dogs.
