Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Eric Taylor received a Bachelor of Political Science from North Carolina State University in 1989 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Dr. Taylor grew up in Greensboro and attended Page High School. As a teenager, when not playing guitar in a rock band or driving a school bus, Eric worked for the Natural Science Center in Greensboro. At this job he enjoyed caring for and learning about a variety of animals, both wild and domestic. After college, Eric worked with Young Life here in Winston-Salem and continues to be involved with high school ministry. Dr. Taylor pursued his dream to work in companion animal medicine and loves every aspect of it. He has a special love for small animal dentistry, orthopedics, and exotics, but is more than willing to tackle any pet issue that comes his way. Dr. Taylor is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association and the Forsyth County Veterinary Association. When he's not improving the lives of companion animals in the triad, he likes to spend time with his wife Jennifer and their three children. The Taylor family has a few additional entertainers in the family, including a black lab named Maddy and a poodle named Bo, their four cats Pepper, Spooky, Opie and Thelma Lou.
