Veterinarian Overview
Dr. James ("Buck") Clark brought his extensive experience to VSRP in 2011. He earned his DVM from North Carolina State University in 1996 and then completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Mississippi State University. He then completed an additional one year surgical fellowship at the Dallas Veterinary Surgery Center, followed by a three year surgical residency at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Clark became an ACVS diplomate in 2006. He served as a staff surgeon at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Cary, NC for six years. Dr. Clark also assists local veterinary practices in the Outer Banks of NC. His weekends are spent at his family home in the Outer Banks, where he enjoys the beach and surf fishing.
