Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ryan graduated from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983, (War Eagle!), where she also received her Masters Degree in Physiology and her undergraduate Zoology degree. She enjoys all facets of veterinary medicine, especially soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. Dr. Ryan has been training dogs and competing in Obedience, Rally, and Agility for over 30 years. Through all her behavior studies for such training, she has helped many clients with pet behavior problems. Although a devoted owner of mixed breed dogs and cats for years, when a client gave her a show quality Chinese Crested Powderpuff, she insisted Dr. Ryan show him in Conformation, She then got sucked into the Conformation world of dog shows and now has four Chinese Cresteds, some of which are Champions and Grand Champions. Go figure. In her spare time, she plays with and trains her dogs and loves to be outdoors and is a huge gardening enthusiast.
