Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jeff Broadaway is a North Carolina native born in Charlotte, but has been a life-long Union county resident. Dr. Broadaway obtained his B.S. degree in Animal Science and Poultry Science at North Carolina State University and completed his veterinary degree at The North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. He gained a lot of his on-the-job training by interning during the summers with Dr. Parker at SRVH. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the NC Veterinary Medical Association, the Academy of Veterinary Consultants and the American Association of Bovine Practioners. Dr. Broadaway has a special interest in advanced cattle reproduction through embryo transfer. He says, I thoroughly enjoy my work each day and look forward to interacting with animals and their owners. Dr. Broadaway has several interests and hobbies, including reading, traveling, spending time on the farm with his creatures, but mainly enjoys raising registered Simmental and Angus Cattle. Along with his familys commercial cow herd he has 10 registered Nubian goats that are having babies left and right. He has a Golden Retriever, Pixie, that absolutely runs the house. He also enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. He says, My friends play an important role in my life and are greatly appreciated and treasured.
