Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Katy Beachy originally began her college education as a theater major dreaming of the stage and bright lights of Broadway. Discovering her cat had FIV after her freshman year changed the course of her life. She went to work in the Veterinary Biosciences Department at Ohio State University the following fall. After receiving a BS in Biology, she continued on to graduate from the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 with the intention of working solely in feline medicine. Dr. Beachy has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2000, working with both cats and dogs. She has a true love for working with cats and we are thrilled to have her as part of our Cat Clinic family. Truly a cat person at heart, she returned home to the Cat Clinic team in February 2014. She has a love of soft tissue surgery and an interest in ultrasound. She has a passion for working with clients and staff to provide the best medicine for their kitties. In her free time she enjoys spending quality time with her beautiful children (Lexi, Logan, and Lukas) baking, hiking, watching movies, doing art projects, etc. They share their home with five crazy cats: Biscuit, Rosie, Harley, BatCat, and Minion.
