Veterinarian Overview
I grew up in Upstate New York_ and earned my undergraduate degree at Cornell University where I majored in Business. I soon realized this was not the career path I wanted to follow. I have always _had a passion for animals and science__, so I began working with a veterinarian in my hometown where I discovered that I love interacting with pets and their families as well as the dail_y learning opportunities afforded (and necessary!) as a veterinarian. I moved to North Carolina_ in 2007_ _to attend North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I fell in love with the Triangle area and decided to make it my permanent home. _I am proud to be part of Falconbridge Animal Hospital, where I feel that family pets receive high quality, compassionate care. My special interests in veterinary medicine include Dermatology, Companion Exotics, and Internal Medicine. I live _in Cary _with my _two_ mixed-breed dogs, Jazzy and Rocky, my cat Amelia, and _my _bearded d__ragon, Titan. In my free time, I enjoy_ playing recreational soccer on several local teams_. I also enjoy _hiking and wildlife observation, and traveling_ to explore new areas both in North Carolina and abroad_.
